VW Crafter and MAN TGE: which doors and lights interchange?
The current Volkswagen Crafter and MAN TGE are closely related, but that does not make every similar-looking component interchangeable. Earlier Crafter generations also use a different basis. Start with generation, vehicle dimensions and the exact part number.
Confirm the vehicle family first
Record VIN, model year, generation, wheelbase, body length, roof height and facelift. Compare a TGE only with its corresponding Crafter generation; model name and model year alone are not proof.
Doors need a complete specification check
Compare side, glazing, hinges, track, lock, handle, wiring, trim and included components. A door shell may match while brand-specific trim or electronics differ.
Lights depend on technology and electronics
